Enter the six digit code from the Authy app and click Xero verify desktop app – xero verify desktop app. Once Authy is generating codes, return to Deskrop and click Enter Code. Select 6-digit as the token length, and click Save. Select one of the options, for example Generic Bluethen evrify rename it type ‘Xero’ in the Account Name field at the top of the screen. #USE AUTHY DESKTOP VERIFICATION#

When you enter a phone number, you can select how you receive the verification code. In a separate tab on your web browser, go to the Authy website and follow the steps to download Authy to your desktop. When prompted to choose an authenticator app, select Use my own app. This will take you to the start of the MFA process. Under Additional Securitynext to Multi-factor authenticationclick Set up. If you can’t install apps on your work computer yourself, ask your IT team to install an authenticator app for you, either on your computer or your organisation’s server. You’re now set up to use MFA next time you log into Xero. They also need to be five or more characters. While logged in to Xero, click your initials or profile image at the top right of the screen, then select Account. Your answers can only contain letters or numbers, and not any symbols or special characters. Add sesktop backup email address, then click Continue. Xero Verify only sends notifications when you’re logging in to Xero. With push notifications, a message pops up on your smartphone or tablet. It’s the only app using push notifications to log in to Xero. You can use an authenticator app of your choice but we recommend Xero Verify.
